Description: The Alpine Loop Trail System is a group of Colorado trails comprised of a series of dirt and gravel county roads that ascend high mountain passes that connect the towns of Ouray, Lake City, Silverton, and Telluride. This area has a rich mining history and is in nestled in the midst of some of Colorado’s most well known 14,000 foot peaks.
