Many of these locations may also include other outdoor recreation opportunities such as; camping, swimming, fishing, canoing, boating, skiing and golf.
If you plan to ride or wheel an ORV in this state there are several important points to consider. All ORVs must be currently registered in Massachusetts under MGL c. 90B. ORV use is permitted in these areas only during the official riding season (as conditions allow) beginning no earlier than May 1 and ending no later than the last Sunday in November each year. To be sure the forest is open please call ahead.

Cape Cod National Seashore

Description: The ORV corridor at Cape Cod National Seashore is comprised of miles of unspoiled beaches managed by the National Park Service to accommodate ORV enthusiasts and other beach goers. Outlined are requirements and regulations for driving off-road at Cape Cod National Seashore. All applicable federal and state laws and regulations apply and are enforceable.
Capeway Rovers Motocross

Description: Capeway Rovers began in 1934 in Bourne, Massachusetts and moved to Middleboro in 1951. The track is the oldest motocross track on the East coast. The original track was located behind Chase Chevrolet however that land was taken over by eminent domain.
The Capeway Rovers Motorcycle Club purchased the current 60 acre lot, situated amid the cranberry bogs for scrambles/TT purposes but now only hosts motocross events. Every hot New England rider has tasted the dirt here at Middleboro. New England legends like Dick Bettencourt, Jo Jo Keller, Jim Meenan, Jimmie Ellis, Doug Henry, John Dowd, Pat Barton and Keith Johnson have all put in countless laps at Middleboro. Over 800 motocross races have been held here.
Crow Hill Motor Sports Park

Description: This motocross park offers a full-size motocross track as well as a peewee track. The track surface consists of a sand and loamy soft dirt blend and they are groomed and watered to provide the optimal riding experience.

October Mountain State Forest Contact Phone Number: 413-243-1778 Description: Approximately 30 miles of Massachusetts trails suitable for motorcycles or ATVs.
Pittsfield State Forest Contact Phone Number: 413-442-8992 Description: Approximately 14 miles of Massachusetts trails suitable for motorcycles or ATVs. A daily permit is required for ATV and motorcycle riding in Pittsfield State Forest.
Tolland State Forest Contact Phone Number: 413-269-6002 Description: Approximately 15 miles of Massachusetts trails best suited to MGL c. 90 registered motorcycles (motorcycles registered and equipped to ride on public roads). Many Tolland trails merge with public ways where ATV use is prohibited. ATV riders will find more suitable trails in Beartown, October Mt. and Pittsfield State Forests

Motocross 338

Description: The Southwick Motocross 338 track is approx. 1 .3 mile in length on 28 acres owned by the American Legion Post 338.
Nauset Beach

Description: There are four fresh water beaches and three salt water beaches that are part of the City of Orleans expereince. Nauset Beach on the Atlantic Ocean offers an off road vehicle trail. A special permit is required year-round.
